(from here to there to nowhere)

I'm on a road trip. Only instead of traveling by car, I'm on foot.

I'm walking through the countryside and find myself on a dark, narrow path that seemingly leads up an even darker, forested hill. I try to look and see if there's a light at the end of this path and suddenly herds of wild sheep and goats come galloping out of nowhere and I must leap sideways into a field of dry, burnt hay in order to avoid them.

I don't know where to go from there.
